The processes we use to make your parts

These are the in-house processes we combine to turn an idea — or a worn-out original — into a finished part. Each one can stand alone, or work together as a complete scan → design → make workflow.

3D Printed Parts / Prototyping

3D printing is usually the most cost-effective solution for getting a part into your hands! We currently have a Bambu Lab P1S, and can print in a wide range of materials — from abrasive engineering-style filaments to super-soft rubberised styles, and everything in between.

CNC-machined metal part

CNC Machining

CNC machining is the most accurate and durable option we offer. We provide full 3-axis CNC machining in a variety of materials. Our Haas Mini Mill has a 16″ × 12″ × 10″ work envelope and a 6,000 rpm spindle, and we'll do everything from one-off parts to small-scale production runs.

3D Scanning

3D scanning is a super useful way to get real-world data into the computer. Whether it's for recreating existing parts or using the surrounding environment to create new ones, 3D scanning is often the first step to making that happen. We offer 3D scanning down to 0.1 mm with our Einstar scanner.

3D Modelling

Got an idea? Chances are we can get it into the computer for you. We do everything from 2D drawings all the way up to complex assemblies with moving parts. We offer rendering services as well as editing of existing models — we'd love to work with you to get exactly what YOU want for your project.
